My husband and I met Michael at an open house when we were just starting to look. We knew we had found our guy – he’s super friendly, insanely knowledgeable about San Francisco real estate (and the city in general), and just really seemed to get us and what were looking for. We chatted via phone and email over the next few weeks as we went out and looked at places. He also referred a few mortgage brokers and was great at coordinating and helping through that whole process. Michael was always above-and-beyond helpful without every being pushy.
Once we were approved, we had a meeting with both Michael and Aaron at their office to talk more about the nitty-gritty of the home-buying process and to review a disclosure packet for a place we had looked at and loved. They were so incredibly flexible in finding a time that worked for us despite the fact that it probably wasn’t ideal for them (6:30 PM on Memorial Day), and we didn’t feel at all rushed through the meeting; they really made sure we had all of our questions answered and concerns addressed. This was the first we had met Aaron, and we weren’t at all surprised to find that he’s just as lovely as Michael. Given our interest in one particular home, they offered to take us back there the next day so we could look at it again on our own time. Again, they both went out of their way to accommodate our schedule and let us wander around for waaaay longer than we did at the open house 🙂 They both offered their opinions and thoughts on the place, how it was valued, etc – all very helpful and presented in a way that didn’t try to sway us one way or the other.
After much debate and hand-wringing on our end, we ended up making an offer on the house the next day! Michael patiently listened to our worries and concerns and offered advice without pressuring us at all. He worked his magic, and our offer was accepted! From there it was a whirlwind of getting the loan and title in order, and Michael was right there keeping things moving smoothly along. He helped us get set up with a closing date that was right between my husband’s work travel and a family wedding we had. Even though it was mostly up to title and the bank at this point, Michael checked in with all of us regularly to make sure everyone was coordinating with each other and on schedule. We really felt taken care of through the whole process.
Now, thanks to Michael and Aaron, we’re ready to move in to our own little slice of San Francisco this weekend! We really can’t thank them enough – they were both a joy to work with, and they made the whole process as smooth as it could possibly be! You can’t go wrong with these guys!
