San Francisco Positioned for a Strong 2026

San Francisco’s real estate market has entered its mid-winter slowdown, with November showing a clear decline in both new listings and sales activity. Even so, pricing strength, limited inventory, and buyer competition remain elevated following an exceptionally active fall. December is traditionally the slowest month of the year, paving the way for renewed momentum in mid-January as focus shifts to the New Year. With mortgage rates still low by long-term standards and financial markets rebounding into early December, San Francisco continues to demonstrate notable strength heading into 2026.
